When tech support came in my pc by remote access to fix the issue I've been having with Symantec framework crashing, they said that was the problem and uninstalled it. It didn't fix the problem. I'd like to know what it is, a virus, Trojan, etc.? Does anyone know?
I do not know the exact details, but it is a Norton file that may get installed at some point. It may depend on what Norton products you install on your system
There have been some users having BSOD's and removing the SMR files and registry entries has fixed the BSOD.
