I have 6 logs of norton community watch in a row they all have codes and one has a submission of a programfiles/MalwareBytesAntiMalware/unins000.exe file is this normal?
Hello GreatNate1312,
To answer your first question, see this link for more information on Norton Community Watch.
The behavior you're experiencing is normal.
Wow, I feel secure knowing Norton is constantly checking things out on my computer and sending in samples for investigation. Thanks for the responce Tim, and Nice job Norton
Nate, I didn't read the link Tim provided, so if I'm redundant, my appologies.
I, like you, have many questions and worries about safety on my computer. What I have come to find out is whatever gets sent via the community watch is not always a problem. They are just "checking" things to make sure items are cool and not maleware.
So if you see an item like example
iedw.exe
being submitted, it does not mean that the file is infected, just that there may be some part of the file that appears similar to maleware, etc.
