Hello there. Something odd happened to me today. I was using a program called LooT which is a trusted load order managment system for people who mod their games. I got this 2 days ago and norton allowed it just fine. I realised it needed to be updated so I uninstalled the old version, and when I went to install the new one norton prevented me from getting it saying
Loot.install.exe (Suspicious.Cloud.7.EP) Detected by download insight, and it removed it. I tried then to get it through the the 7 zip way, and instead I got Loot.exe (SONAR.Heuristic.120) detected by SONAR. Now I tried this a couple a of times, and got the same warnings and everytime they were removed. My question is what are these two things norton mentions, and honestly I had a similar issue a while back with a trust tool called minitoolbox, which was reccomended by the malware removal sights. Now for that one it said SuSpicious.Cloud.2. Now everything on my computer is running fine from my end, but I am curious why did this happen and what are those three things norton mentioned. Also why is it in my program files are there a bunch of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. I have noticed that they were there a while back, well save for one LooT installed due the fact it needed it. Also as a note I did follow a clear tutorial on how to install it as well.
