What is the point of Norton toolbar if identity safe doesn't work on Firefox 42

I applied the patch to Norton internet security and it said I can now update Firefox to 42 so I did, and although I have the Norton toolbar, the id safe doesn't work, so what was the point of the update, how can I go back to firefox 40
