I just installed a Standard Edition version of NSW 2009 as well as a new copy of Vista. Naturally, I installed ALL of my other software too - including MS Office 2007.
And to top it off, Norton says I do not need to defragment my hard drive. Even after all that software? There's got to be a problem here. Even Norton's own built in System Monitor says the drive is disconboobulated and needs defragging. When I access the defrag routine through it the program scans and results in the same answer - the drive does not need defragmenting. In fact it reports that the drive is only 3% fragmented.
Frankly I think it's wrong.
Does anyone have any input or some way to explain this. It would be greatly appreciated.
