This should be a simple question. After I was auto-updated to the crashing 16.7 AntiVirus, I ended up un-installing Norton AntiVirus using the Norton Removal tool. Since I'm stuck with re-installing, I don't want to mess around with supplemental hotfixes and the like. How long until I can simply re-install using the standard web-based installation and be done with it? This is the standard address for the software; presumably the "Free Update" button is the one I want. But is this still distributing the buggy vesion? Or is the bug now a thing of the past?
