When I received my laptop when purchased online, it came with a month long free trial to Norton Antivirus.
Now that my subscription has expired, it doesn't shut up about renewing it, and I'm not interested in renewing it. I am using the AVG Antivirus program and it works perfectly fine.
I was thinking of uninstalling Norton Antivirus to get it to shut up, because it appears in the corner of my screen at least twice everyday.
But before I do so, I wanted to know if it is doing anything at all to benefit my security, even if I am unsubscribed to it.
