How can I find out when (date, time) the next Full Idle Scan is going to start? NAV 2009.
The last time it ran on my pc (Vista) was 11/10/08 which is now 10 days ago. It is set to Weekly.
There are NO scheduled scans defined. I previously had a scheduled scan defined, but it has been deleted as I want to go back to Full Idle Scans on a weekly basis. I did scan a folder (right click on Windows Explorer, and scanned the folder). Idle Quick Scans seem to be working.
Is there some registry key or file or command that will tell me when it is SUPPOSED to run?

My history showed that the LAST time it ran was over 10 day ago. I want to know when it should run in the future, since it is set to weekly.
>> You can always Run it Manually.
>> If you leave you computer until it goes Idle, does that Idle Full System Scan Start?
No. I've left the computer idle for hours and nothing.
Everything used to work fine. Then 10 days ago I switched idle scan off in settings; configured a custom scan to run scheduled. After that ran a few times, I deleted the custom scan, and turned the idle scan back on, but it doesnt ever start.
Again, how/where can I determine when the next weekly idle scan is SUPPOSED to start?

It should Run exactly a week after the Full System Scan finished, for example, if a F.S.S. was done on November 11, 2008, then an Idle F.S.S. should start November 18, 2008.
What is your N.I.S. 2009 Version? To get this information: Open Norton Product > ? Help & Support > About.
It used to work exactly a week apart. I disabled it to try a scheduled custom scan of just two partitions. After I then deleted the custom scan and custom scan schedule, and then turned idle scan back on, the full idle scan has never started up on its own. See my other thread:
The idle full system scan's schedule resets every time you change the option in the product settings. It's next run will be the time the option changed, plus the interval you selected. So if you set the option to weekly (e.g. changed it from off), it will next run one week from when the option was changed, provided idle conditions are met.
Running a Manual Full System Scan (via the On-Demand Scanner) does not modify the the Idle Full System Scan's schedule; they run independently of each other.
Running scheduled custom scans does not modify the Idle Full System Scan's schedule (if enabled) either.
