I have NIS version 22.7.0.76. Have been experiencing problem of "Auto Protection" turning off. When I used Chat support, the Rep said that Symantec is aware of the issue and will be rolling out an updated version to fix the problem, but didn't tell me when it will become available. Does anyone know?
The Rep opened "Settings" > "Antivirus", and changed level of boot protection from 'None" to 'Aggressive' to stop the 'auto protection off' warning as a temporary solution until the NIS update becomes available. She said my computer is still secure b/c NIS has 7 layers of protection and 'Auto-Protect' is one of these layers.
