Whenever the VPN is activated Windows 10 Explorer continuously keeps re-setting

Hi. I am having issues with Norton VPN. Whenever it is activated Windows 10 'Explorer' continuously keeps re-setting whenever a taskbar icon is clicked. This causes lengthy delays and when the reset has taken place my system tray icons re-appear in random order and there are always several missing. This results in me having to re-boot/re-start my computer. I know Norton VPN is the culprit as whenever I de-activate it I not longer have the problem. I have even re-installed Norton360 to see if it would solve the problem, but it did not. Does anyone have the same problem and if so does anyone have a solution? Take good care and stay safe.

[Edit: Calrified the subject]

Hello Bob, welcome to the forums. Just a couple of questions for you with the issue you are having. Are you logged into your computer as admin and are you the only user on that device? Have you look into your Norton history via the main user interface, to see what is being logged there, if anything? And have you also looked into the Windows Event Viewer for entries marked as critical and can be linked to the Norton VPN causing a shutdown of Windows Explorer?
