I have just performed a backup to my external drive - it showed as completed but I can't find it anywhere on the drive? I want the backups to go into a folder on the external drive - how do I get the system to put the backup in that folder?

I have a Norton 360 - 3 user pack that includes online backup.
I upgraded one of my computers with windows 7.
As expected, all of my files were lost.
I reloaded my Norton 360 and clicked on Restore Files.
But no files are found.
How do I indicate that this is not a new install of Norton onto a new computer, but it is a reinstall onto a computer that had this Norton product and had been creating a backup.

You can follow peterweb's instructions to check your available installs. And when you reinstall the Norton, along with the product you've to activate the Backup also. So goto Backup-->Manage Backup sets --> Where(tab) --> check next to the Secure Online Storage you can see the total and available storage space--> If not check below the Secure Online Storage you've click here to activate option --> click on that and enter your Norton Account password to activate your Backup --> Click on save settings --> Now goto the Restore option and refresh the backup list you can see your prior backups.
