Why add family member to LifeLock account?

My wife and I have had separate Norton/LifeLock accounts for a while (we had Norton before they merged with LifeLock and Norton/LifeLock didn't have the family member option). Now I was hoping to add her to my Norton 360 with LifeLock Select account as a family member because we share all financial information and we were wanting to track our combined info from one spot.

However, as I understand it, even though I add her to my account, she still will have her own separate account (because different SSN, email). And apparently we won't see our combined info in a single LifeLock dashboard - we have to log into her account separately to see her alerts, etc.

So, what's the advantage of adding her to my account as a "Spouse/Partner"? Why not just leave her with a separate, individual account? The price is apparently the same.
