Why am I paying for NOrton Security when their sales dept. wants to charge me....

 

 Please someone tell me why I paid for Norton Security Suite when I called support -- I thought it was support -- and no it's the "sales" department and I listen to this RUDE WOMAN SO RUDE BECAUSE I KEPT ASKING QUESTIONS and she finally in the end tells me I need to pay $139 to remove a virus (we don't know I have that virus) and then oh well we can do it for $99 -- why would I pay at all AT ALL when they are supposed to be stopping these viruses?

 

 I update all the anti-virus definitions -- they do that automatically. I have my email scanned I have the firewall, I hdo all ALL of what they recommend to keep my notebook safe but she assumes I have this retro virus that gets thro9ugh Norton well I say if it does, then Norton ought to remove it and not charge me.

 

 This is so irritating. I have called Verizon for help, it's not on their end. I called HP who don't know what they are doing anytway but Verizon transferred me to what I thought was Norton help. I'm calling back and sayin hey, this is the sales dept., it works for them to sell somethign, not help.

 

When you are no longer able to get help on the phone, when you are no longer even able to get live chat wthout a wait and i waited an HOUR ALMOST for what the sales dept? this is sad.

This is a virus that Norton was suppoed to protect me from.

I don't see why they don't remove it. IF IT IS INDEED THE VIRUS.
