Why are there issues with the new version of N.I.S. (update 20.4) and windows 7 64 bit?

I recently installed the upgrade to my N.I.S. 2013 to version 20.4 from the Norton site, and after doing so began to have issues that did'nt exist with the older version. The first problem ocurred when I sent photos to a friend as an attachment. After sending them, Norton popped up and said the File size limit had been exceeded. This never ocurred with the previous version. The next issue was that I can no longer set the program to scan every file on my pc. It used to be that you could set the trust level manually. This feature appears to have vanished. The other problem is that the trust level indication on the main menu does not seem to update when files are removed or programs added or removed.  I uninstalled the newest version of N.I.S. ie v.20.4 and re-installed the previous version(I still had the installer file on my pc.) and guess what? No more issues! I suspect the newest version is meant to work best with Windows 8 and not 7. Am I correct? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Such a message does comes from your ISP handling your email. I don't believe Norton has any reason to check or limit the file size of email attachments.

I suggest you check with your ISP telling them the size of the file.
