Why can't NU's Wipe Info delete erased files?

Using PC Tools File Recover I find thousands of  'recoverable' files in a folder named C:\...\Erased_174139\.    I would like to permanently delete the files With Wipe Info but can't find said folder.       Help! :smileysad:

Hi Bobbykai808,

Download and install CCleaner. It's compact, free and well tested.

http://www.ccleaner.com/

- Go to Cleaner > Windows. Under Advanced, select Wipe Free Space. Take a look at the remaining items and select those that you want cleaned, or deselect everything except Wipe Free Space.

- Go to Options > Settings. Under Secure Deletion, select Normal file deletion. If you're concerned that someone may still be able to recover the files (normal recovery software won't work), select Secure file deletion; however, if you have a large drive with lots of unused space, secure file deletion can take hours.

- Click on Run Cleaner (lower right) and let it go. All traces of deleted files and folders will be removed.
