Why did it pop up to tell me my Antispyware Definitions are out of date?

Windows 7 Prof 32 bit

Norton Security v 22.5.2.15

I'm sitting here browsing the local news when in the bottom right-hand side of my screen a pop-up says that my Antispyware Definitions are out of date and I'm vulnerable. So I check to see what Norton Security has to say and in BIG RED 'Xs' You are at Risk.

I have Live Updates checked off in Settings. I thought that was when things got updated. Am I supposed to update something manually to keep myself 'safe'?? Do I click on 'Fix Now' or run a Live Update??

Thanks
