Yesterday, after updating my computer for the most recent version of iTunes and iCloud for Windows 10, Norton Power Eraser executed immediately on start-up. Why did this happen?
It found several "bad" files including a HitmanPro 3.7, (4) bhdrvx64 .sys plus an idsvia64.sys. Some of these files were removed. However, the (4) bhdrvx64 .sys and idsvia64.sys were not. The results in the Removal Report was "failed". Is this something that I need to be concerned about? I did not find this activity in the log yesterday.
This morning, however, I have numerous Norton Community Watch Feedback" entries that appear to be related to Microsoft version 10. Although no action is recommended, this is a bit unusual and therefore concerning to me. The good news is that the scans are clear and no threatening or quarantined items have been found since July 2015.
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
