Why do I now have Norton Crypo on my front page? it this for real?

Any chance you recently upgrade your graphics card? If so, the message is caused by Norton detecting a graphics card that is compatible with the Norton Crypto featuer. Nothing gets installed for Crypto unless you specifically click to allow it.

And as already noted, the feature has been disabled.

If you are using Classic UI then this Norton Crypto Miner won't display.

Although Norton Crypto was a part of mining from Ethereum but now disabled, read here.

Do not worry your PC is safe.

You could see presence of Norton Crypto.
