I was completing a form that required a routing number. I was using Password Manager to input my password by opening its icon. There was no problem there, but it also kept placing the icon in the routing number box. I could override it but since the password was required later in the process, it overrode my override when I sent the form! I had to put in the password, then go back and override the routing number! Why does it decide to put the icon in the routing number box?

Website login pages may be poorly designed, and difficult for password managers to parse.
Password managers may fail to fill in the correct field due to website design issues, such as non-standard or custom login forms.
Websites may have unique or complex login pages that can confuse password managers.
Websites may use custom fields that don’t match the password manager’s expectations.
Password managers may fail to fill the correct field due to non-standard or poorly coded website forms, which can use random labels or custom fields that confuse the password manager.
Websites may use unusual or custom code for their login fields, such as changing field names or using non-standard attributes, which can prevent the password manager from correctly identifying the username and password fields.
Password managers may try to fill in a non-password field because the webpage’s code has confused the field with a password or username field, or the saved login information in your vault is associated with a different URL than the one you are currently on. This can happen on poorly designed login pages or when you are on a site that is not an exact match to the URL saved in the vault.
Password managers may be mistakenly identifying a text field as a password or username field due to the website’s underlying code.
Password managers may unintentionally fill in hidden fields on a form, which could expose sensitive information if the site is poorly designed.
