Why doesn't Norton 360 find and remove trojan:SLocker?

Why doesn't Norton 360 w/ LifeLock Select not detect and remove trojans. I can't find this particular trojan mentioned anywhere in Norton discussions. I did find one thread that mentioned similar malware notices wanting you to click on a link or call a phone # to unlock your computer. And then the responses were to buy Malware Bytes - another program. I already spend a fortune on Norton products why isn't this all covered within the Norton Family? I've been a loyal customer since Norton the '80s but I'm getting pretty frustrated having to buy so many different products for different processes. I would like everything in one place. I'm not getting any younger.....

Thank you Norton Fighter - this confirms what I already found. But doesn't answer my original question - WHY doesn't Norton catch and clean this. Why do I need a different-additional program (see I'm old) to catch this?

And I see the mention of Chrome extensions allowing the trojan. This happened on my husband's computer - he's at the age where he's not managing tech very well any more so no telling what he clicked on. I'm constantly getting him out of a jam. But - we don't use Chrome. We use Brave which has an ad blocker of their own. I realize Brave is a Chrome derivative (or whatever it's called). I have disabled Chrome on our computers.
