A couple months ago I purchases the two year, three user license for norton internet security. Recently we purchases a new laptop and I went to mynortonaccount.com and click the handy "Buy a key" button. Imagine my confusion and dismay when it directed me not to a convenient single key purchase, but another three user account for 49.99. I don't need three more keys.
.
Not to be so easily beaten I went through the fabulous and purportedly super helpful norton 24/7 chat support. I went through the system and gave my information to the analyst but unfortunately was only offered the chance to either purchase a single key for the not as good anti virus only program for 40 dollars, or purchase a five user internet security key for 109 dollars and having it transferred to my current system. That prior seems a bit of a rip off compared to the cost of three internet security keys, and the latter only worse for my situation, as I don't need five new keys even with three keys transferred, as that would leave one key unused with no intent to purchase a fifth computer, at a cost I'm not looking to absorb with still two years of protection on my current subscription.
So long story slight rant short, the subject said it all, why can't I, or is there some easier way to just purchase an additional key? By my math it should be around 16 bucks, which would be much easier to handle and way more convenient.
What's up Norton?
