As I can shop around and save lots of money rather than clicking renew button and no point talking to Norton customer service as they said if you can buy cheaper , you should!!
Please make sure that you buy the renewal from a trusted source. We have seen many users reporting here that they their kers are cancelled, with similar messages like this:
Message: "Revoked Product Key: Your product key has been cancelled and is no longer valid"
I think the one from Best Buy would be okay, I am not sure though. Forum Gurus have more information about this. Please wait for them to be online. They will help you.
We don't recommend sources to buy from since Norton do not want to upset their wide range of authorized distributors. I suggest you check out the weekend flyers that the main street stores that sell computers etc put out -- they change tonight -- since they often have Norton products on sale with a substantial rebate.
The second site you mention is a well known main street store with a good reputation.
If you are running N 360 at the moment and it has the link to check Norton Safe Web results (I'm using NIS at the moment) I suggest you copy that first URL into the test box and read the User comments .........
I wasn’t asking Norton to suggest me to any store offer, or was I?
it was rather a complain about Norton price structure and customer service , I am a loyal customer for few years, what I am saying DO NOT RENEW YOUR SUBCRISCPITION as by going direct to Norton via clicking renew now button result in you losing money !
Customer service said please buy from the other vendors as we cannot change our price structure, by the way AntiVirusHouse http://www.antivirushouse.com/products/Norton-AntiVirus-2011.html?gclid=CImaufTA0akCFZRX4Qod5jX6MA
Buying from them I would save more than half the money than Norton would have charged me L

That comment was the result of CyberLife saying that gurus would and you did ask ask "are the good" in one message.
No-one is forcing you to do anything and if you spend some time reading messages here you will see how otten we, including Norton Staff (names in red), do suggest buying from an authorized source, just as Customer Support did .....
You will also find messages here from people who have bought on price alone who have found that the KEY with the product they paid for is invalid .... and this does not always show up immediately on use. It can be revoked on line later if Norton find out that a batch was stolen or forged.
If that happens then you will be out of pocket which is why we warn people.
And there is nothing wrong with all low cost sources -- there is at least one that I have bought from for years without a problem.
BTW Are you in the UK because I see that AntiVirus House is quoting a UK price of £30 which would be about $48 here in the USA and that is pretty standard at the moment for US stores although I've seen cheaper here.
Are you suggesting that these reputable stores would sale fake or illegal software? As you keep repeating the invalid key ….
Please do check again the price for 2 years (3 computers) if I do with Direct with Norton is £124.00 and if I use Antivirushouse it would be £64.98….
I am not saying anything about anyone.
Nor did I say that the Norton price for renewal was not higher than the lowest prices one can get from reputable sources -- they cannot undercut their authorized distributors; that's a fact of commercial life and not restricted to Norton.
You are well advised to buy from any reputable source you choose to unless renewing on line is convenient for you as it has been for some users who have posted here.
And please remember that these forums are here specifically to help users with technical matters although there are borderline situations and as non-employees of Norton we sometimes give advice that they may feel inhibited from giving, although on the question of renewing I already told you that Norton Staff here (and online as you quoted them here) suggest buying your own copy and using its key to renew when your product is about to expire.
Did I asked you to address the issue? it was my frustration caused by Norton policy of penalizing the loyal customers or retain the old customers, they must not ask customers to renew the subscription as they WILL OVER CHARGE them !
I put up this here for others to see and make up their own mind before they buy from Norton!

And if you keep reading the various threads you will see that price shopping from trustworthy dealers is suggested quite often. Norton will keep their prices where they feel they must be and other resellers are allowed to adjust their prices to the point where they can sell at a profit. Even if that price is below the full retail [manufacturer's suggested retail price]. That's just business and as a userr of Norton products for over 20 years I do like most other folks I buy where I get the best deal I can trust. No need to be frustrated by the policy that keeps Norton in business. Just do as many of us do and shop for the best buy when you need to obtain a new version or licensd.
end of my rant
Thank you............................... will do that !
Sometimes your isp offers protection. In my case they offer Norton Security Suite.
