My basic questions first are....Why is Filezilla blocked by Norton? And is it safe to change Norton's security settings to let it through?
Basically I have been tasked with moving a website to a new server. I am no computer techie (you can probably already tell by what are, no doubt, my stupid questions), but I am the only one in my family who has a chance..... Eeek
I've been told by LCN (our new website host) that I should use Filezilla, they provide a link to the download.( https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client )
Norton stops that download for FileZilla_3. exe. Saying it is not safe and has been removed from my computer.
I have found numerous article and posts on the internet about how to get filezilla to download.
But should I?
Is it safe? Why is it being blocked?
Any and all help will be VERY gratefully received?
