Why is Norton Antitrack app in French while the rest of the Norton 360 apps are in English?

I am in the UK and my PC’s Windows 11 language is UK English. Norton 360 apps are all in English except for Norton AntiTrack app which is in French. I have searched but can’t find anywhere to change this.

Can anybody help correct this irritating issue?

@Dr_Martin_Higgs How are you attempting to install? Directly from within your Norton account? From the store within the Norton 360 UI? What browser will you install the extension to?

Thanks for the reply.

AntiTrack was downloaded and installed from my account - also in English - after downloading and installing Norton 360 from my account. So no idea where it is picking up the French language setting from.

My suggestion is to remove anti-track and reboot. Run live updates on Norton 360 and get whatever updates are there and reboot again. The latest version of Norton is 26.7.11086 (build 26.7.11086.990).

Reinstall anti-track again from the same source as before. Lets see what difference you get in that scenario.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions. After following these and reinstalling AntiTrack from my Norton Account and adding the AntiTrack extension to my Edge and Firefox browsers from MS Store both the app and Edge extension are in English, as are all the other Norton apps on my PC as it also in on our Android phones.

The only place it insists on being in French is the Firefox extension downloaded from MS Store. My PC is brand new and the default language of the PC has never been set to anything other than the MS English (United Kingdom). Any further thoughts.
