The best Firewall-GUI I ever saw was the one of Sygate Personal Firewall.
Somehow they managed, to provide all the Information I am interested in, by displaying it in a very compact and structured way.
When Symantec aquired Sygate, I waited for a new product, using that excellent GUI.
I think, that one of the most important features of a Firewall is, to provide the user with enough information for being able to feel safe. Off course ther are lot of people, who do not care about many details. So I think, the best way is, to have a customizable GUI with a nice default-configuration.
I would like to use Symanted Products, if they displayed a little bit more data and in a more compact way.
