I used to use Kaspersky and recently switched to Norton. Why does Norton have so many pop-ups? Everytime I turn on my computer there's some message in the corner from Norton asking me to purchase something else. Even if I say "Never ask me again", they keep popping up. Worse than actual pop-ups. I will not renew this subscription if there is no way to turn off all of this crap.
Every dang day. I am so tired of Norton. I sure hope they have a representitive from the company reading these forums. This is ridiculous. I will not be renewing my subscription.
I have the same question, I have a paid subscription but receiving too many adds from Norton, im really tired of adds everytime i use my computer, i was thinking maybe my pc is hacked. Whats going on with Norton?
RichardGreenwood:Yes, over the last few months the number of windows asking me to subscribe to more and more new products. I am getting sick of it. On the other hand the software related to number of devices protected is faulty and show the wrong number and block any access to add a new device. I am considering to switch to other provider.

The short answer is..."marketing". The long answer is there's not a lot we can do to prevent the sell-up alerts other than not use the product. You CAN disable some of the annoyances by disabling a few settings in Norton. Please review the linked article below.
