Hello Everyone,
Don't know if anyone can assist me as there doesn't seem to eb much information on teh symantec website.
I currently own NSW 2008 Premier Ed (v11) and was waiting to v12 came out to upgrade.
However, looking online there hardly appears to be any benefit in upgrading to the current release, the only thing that is new is NAV 2009 with Norton Insight and Protection System. This is hardly by any means a compelling enough reason to fork out about $80 for an upgrade. Where is the value in money for that?? I would be happy to pay for an upgrade if they added some new featues to programs that makes this package what it is (ie. Speed Disk, Save and Restore, Utilities, Disk Doctor etc!).
Can someone provide me with any more 'detailed' information about the differences, as right now I am struggling to justify the expense. For me just buying Norton Antivirus 2009 as a seperate product with a 2year download (as opposed to one year with NSW) is definitely heaps better value for money. Well if what I am saying is correct then the Product Manager at Symantec should be seriously thinking his product strategy and how this feable effort can annoy loyal customers. I hope they get tehir act together!
Thanks for your help
Regards
Neal
