Wifi Privacy Stuck Connecting But Never Connects

I tried the usual uninstall and reinstall and that didn't work either. Internet connection is good as well. When I did uninstall and reinstall it worked fine for a few hours but went right back to being stuck connecting. Anyone else have this issue? I'm running Windows 7 64bit

Well, I set up my laptop to hibernate. I let it hibernate about 6 times now, and unfortunately I only had a problem the first time. The rest of the times, it started up correctly. Both with the VPN connected and with it disabled. Now I am using Win 10, so that could be a reason for the difference we are seeing.

EDIT

Just thought about something to try. Open the NWP interface and click the gear icon to get to the settings page. Uncheck the Autoconnect setting. Then restart your computer and then reset the autoconnect setting. Then see if things work properly again.

It seems to be an issue with connecting after coming out of hibernation. I'll see if I can set one of my machines up to hibernate to test this. I'll get back to you.

I contacted them and all they can do is uninstall and reinstall. I'm starting to think this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

See if Norton Support can help.   www.norton.com/contactcs

I mostly put my PC to hibernate when I'm done with it. I did try to restart it and it worked but it doesn't connect when I bring it out of hibernation

Does it help if you restart your computer when this starts?  Did you restart between uninstalling and reinstalling?
