WiFi Privacy subscription only supports Android or iOS systems

What's the difference between Norton Mobile Security and Norton WiFi Privacy? Reason for asking is that my Norton WiFi Privacy Secure VPN "subscription supports only iOS and Android mobile devices" but doesn't run on Windows 10 as advertised on the product pages and as indicated on my account page. I would have thought, so, that I would be able to use the WiFi Privacy account on my Windows 10 laptop on public hotspots.

Also, I am a bit puzzled about smartphones because one would imagine that Norton Mobile Security and Norton WiFi Privacy products would or should be available as once package? Instead you need both installed if you want to have and a secure mobile phone and Norton WiFi Privacy (I need to access VPN a lot on public networks/hotspots on my smartphone and I need a secure device).

Apologies for nitpicking; it just annoys me a bit that I need to buy two different subscriptions for my smartphone and that one of them I cannot use on my Windows 10 laptop despite the product page indicating that you can use it on such an OS.

Let me know if you still see issues installing on Win 10. There is at least one other user reporting something similar.

Thanks, that solves my two questions!

I'm not sure what problems you are having using Norton Wifi Privacy on Win 10. I have it installed on my 2 Win 10 computers. Did you send a separate email to your Windows computer from your Norton Account? Each email is only good for one device.

For the mobile products. A VPN product is totally separate from an anti virus product. That is why the two Norton products are separate. There are fees for the VPN service, that all users of Norton Mobile Security would not want to have to pay if they were not going to use that feature. So those that want/need VPN will pay for what they are using.
