I have a paid license of Norton Antivirus that runs out in ~40 days and I am currently using it. I am interested in Norton Internet Security to replace it, but I would like to try it first to see how the Firewall behaves and works.
Is a trial of Norton Internet Security possible in my situation?
The reason I wonder is because recently I uninstalled and reinstalled Norton Antivirus via a trial download and it would not work until I put in my product key (i.e. the trial would not work), so I assume the Internet Security trial would be the same but perhaps not since it is technically a different product.
So, if I uninstall my still-current Norton Antivirus and install a trial copy of Norton Internet Security will it work or will me past use of Norton have left registry entries prohibiting me from using a trial period? If it will not work, is there anyway I can try it before I buy an actual license so I can make sure I like the firewall etc. (any temporary key someone Norton could give me via my Norton account perhaps)? If not, I'll try Bitdefender Internet Security.
