Will NAV 2011 Fix ccSvcHst.exe "Loop"?

Like tons of others running NAV 2010, I regularly watch ccSvcHst.exe go into what appears to be a "loop" and start to use 99-100% of my CPU. I am running XP professional, as well.

Sometimes the problem seems to resolve itself if I just wait a half hour or so, and other times, when I need to use the machine right away, nothing short of shutting down the machine and re-booting takes care of it.

My subscription to NAV 2010 still has plenty of time left on it, but am hesitant to renew and may consider buying another antivirus product if I cannot  find a solution to this problem.

Will Symantec provide a fix to 2010 or must I upgrade to 2011 -- And if I upgrade, will that fix the problem? What about the time I have left on my current contract for NAV 2010?  I see references to a ccSvcHst "crashing" fix in the 2011 description, but my machine doesn't crash, it just sucks up all the available CPU power.

TIA for your help.
