A couple of years ago I purchased a NIS09 CD (1 year/3pcs), but never installed it.
Can the Product Key from it be used to activate NIS12 (NIS-ESD-19-1-0-28-EN.exe) which I downloaded
from http://www.symantec.com/redirects/norton/norton_com/nis12 (but have not installed yet)?
I'd like to know before I try because I'm not familiar with NIS and because I don't have a second pc with
which to access the internet for more information on this if it doesn't work.
BTW, what is the difference, if any, downloading NIS12 from www.norton.com/nis12 or the above URL?
