Hi, Action center has started to report that my spyware, anti-virus and firewall is off while in fact that Norton is up and running.
This is quite annoying. I know i can turn off the monitoring in action center but that is just a workaround rather than a fix and i do like to keep things tight and working. Especially when it comes to security. Are there any solutions for this?

Hi Raggz
Welcome to the Norton Community.
I had exactly the same issue after the last Microsoft update cycle. It resolved itself after a complete shut down and restart of my system,
If this do not solves the issue, try this:
1. Open an elevated command promt (In start menu in the search bar write in cmd, and right click on the found cmd icon, an run it as administrator)
2. In the cmd window write winmgmt /verifyrepository in, and hit enter
3. If it reports the the repository is inconsistent, then write this in: winmgmt /salvagerepository, and hit enter
If you still got these errors your can try this command:
winmgmt /resetrepository
It will reset the repository data to the default stage, like you just installed windows, and it will then collect all the data it needs, like AV and firewall infos.
I tried this but since i already tried the above suggestions the action center didn't detect Norton at all afterwards. I re-registered the DLL and reinstalled Norton. It seems to work fine for now. I will have to reboot a few times to make sure it's fixed though.
