I'm running Win7 Pro 64-bit with Norton 360 v5.0. I'm using Cisco VPN v5.0.07 and Remote Desktop (RDC) to connect to work. The VPN connection works fine, but I'm not able to connect with Remote Desktop. I found I can connect to a client's site using VPN & RDC, but only if I disable the Smart Firewall -not an acceptable solution. From that computer I can connect into work using VPN & RDC, so I know it's my pc causing the problem.
Any ideas to resolving the issue? What do I check for in the firewall settings? If it's port 3389 I've read about in this forum, can someone please advise in detail how to "open" the port?
Also, I have been able to connect to work from my old XP desktop (which is no longer working) also running 360 v5.0 without any problems.
Thanks.
