Window App Usage Tracking in Norton Family

There is a message in Norton Family that:

  1. App supervision is unavailable on IOS and
  2. app usage tracking is unavailable on Windows

Can anyone please explain what does that mean for #2? Does it mean if the child has installed the games to the window PC, when they play the games, the hours spent on the games will not be tracked and the total hours allowed to use the PC will not take account of the time spent?

What does it mean?

app usage tracking is unavailable on Windows

With app supervision in Android platform, parents can see

  1. Which apps are being installed/uninstalled
  2. Time spent on each apps

For windows platform, #2 is not available

Is it not tracked?

Yes, time spent of each apps is not tracked in Windows.

However, the overall usage of the PC is still tracked and daily limit (allowed hours) will be enforced based on Time Supervision House Rules.
