Last week MS released Windows 10 1803 Build 17133.1 to the Insider Slow Ring. This will be the release Build on April 10. MS will use Cumulative Updates to bring this Build current before release to the public.
I updated my Laptop and it went real smooth and is running great. I did a clean install of NSBU and it fixed a problem with Automatic Live Updates that would not run.
Hi Krusty I did a search and I did not find any way to stop or disable edge so far I will keep looking. . I did install u block origin it seems to work ok

Yes – exactly. I think that they partially shipped an Insider preview build with all the quirks and limitations. Because it has to be April because it’s called April update. Dead giveaway – look at your feedback frequency in Settings-Privacy-Diagnostics & Feedback…… Set to automatic (obviously!), greyed out… and “Windows Insider program manages this option”.
They actually shipped an insider build version (either wholly or in part) to millions of home users. It is beyond belief.
End quote. Looks like we're all Insiders whether we like it, or not !
Btw, don't forget to re-enable System restore in the new build.
Both my Intel machines got the update to 1803 without any issues. My AMD powered Gateway is another story. Windows blocked and deleted ALL the CCC drivers upon first restart with notifications. Working to figure out what the best drivers will be and get them on the system. My second AMD Zambezi powered gamer is being rebuilt due to one of my animals knocking it over and damaged the power button module. I will be testing it when I get it all together tomorrow. Over all not bad. I've seen other updates create far greater issues.
Microsoft is finally naming its next Windows 10 update today. The Windows 10 April 2018 Update was originally scheduled to release on April 10th, but Microsoft hit a blocking bug that pushed the release to the very last day of April. Microsoft is now releasing its April update for people to manually download on Monday April 30th, before it’s more broadly rolled out to machines on May 8th.
Yesterday MS released the Release Preview and it is the same 17133.1 build so it is looking good.
I updated a 2nd system yesterday and it went well and all my apps are still working.
I removed NSBU before I updated and removed a few leftover Norton Folders. I had to drill down in the sub folders and remove all the files first then worked back up the chain. I found some files in hlink folders that were stopping the removal of the parent folders. I removed them directly and all went well after that.
I now have the new NSBU 22.14.0.54 on all my systems and looking good.
