Here's an extract from a shocking (if true) reply in a thread on the Microsoft Forum:
"My IT guy at work says that MS has solutions to the Critical Error that involve drivers and firmware updates that are not included in Windows Update, but that they are only releasing the info on paid boards for IT professionals. He says that their new policy is not to communicate with regular, everyday people on technical issues like this."
I've asked on the forum if it's true but I don't expect a reply.
PS I've just heard that Microsoft are providing a Phone App for the Iowa caucus. I hope for their sake that it isn't as flawed as the year-old re-launched Win10!
