When Enhanced Protection Mode is checked, ticked or enabled Java & Norton Vulnerability Mode appear as INCOMPATIBLE!! When you simply remove the checkmark or disable Enhanced Protection Mode, (regardless If you're using X86 or X64 Internet Explorer), Norton Vulnerability Mode defaults into a DISABLED mode. When you try to ENABLE IT. It remains enabled until you close & reopen the browser. As for my Java installation, When you simply remove the checkmark or disable Enhanced Protection Mode, Java appears as ENABLED within the Manage Add-ons list with no further issues.
Summary; Windows 10 Enhanced Protection Mode does NOT support 3rd party extensions. Please let me know when Symantec or Microsoft has sent a patch or an update because I want to resume with troubleshooting to see If in fact that the issue has been resolved.
To Whom it may concern, Microsoft or Symantec, You need to fix Norton Vulnerability Mode - or the (Windows 10 64 bit OS) Enhanced Protection Mode so that when Norton Vulnerability mode is enabled it will remain enabled When Windows 10 Enhanced Protection Mode is disabled.
