ITMA. VISTA Home Premium 32-Bit. ["IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT ?" Well, not until 2017 !]
I'm writing this post, for the non-techies. Those who fancy the latest operating-system; but, haven't got a handle on the technicalities.
When Windows 10 is released; on-offer, free or otherwise. What's the mechanics of an operating system change-out?
The amount of continuing W10 investigative MS Updates issued, would point towards a seamless change-over; but, with more than a bit of cynicism, will that be the case?
I've run the compatability tool for Vista - 8.1. The log informed me, that there are 3rd party drivers that would require addressing during a change-over. The drivers are for default applications, booted up from new. Obviously, not on the 8.1 disc.
The bottom line is, will Win 10 change-out seamlessly, because MS have done their preparations correctly; or, will it be fraught with crashes, glitches and hiccups? A bumper celebration for bloggers, forums and tech-news.
Be safe out there !
