Hello
I have Norton Antivirus Plus. When I open Windows Security then click Firewall & Network Protection. Under the Domain Network setting now it says " Status Unavailable, open Norton Antivirus for more information " This message just started recently. It always said No Action Needed
How can I fix the Domain Network message so it says No Action Needed ?

Good Day Soul Asylum
Yup my version of Norton is up to date version 22.24.1.6. That's great advice you mentioned about running the DISM command in the Command Prompt. Through the years I have run DISM command more then a few times followed by the sfc scan and it fixed my Windows 10 corrupted system files. That's a great link you posted explaining to people how to fix and repair a Windows 10 & 11 OS by using the DISM command. That is the proper way and order on how to repair a Windows 10 & 11 Operating system. Too many times on variety of forums people have instructed others to just run the sfc scan. The correct order is to run the 1) DISM command .. then 2) sfc scan
Anyone reading this post and your having problems with your Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating System. Click on the first link that SoulAsylum posted on the previous post. This is proper way to fix & repair your Windows 10/11 OS.
I will look into the problem a bit more. Report this problem to Microsoft and Norton
Thanks SoulAsylum for your help & sharing your expertise.
Thanks for the post-back. Are you on Norton version 22.24.1.6? Give the "Get Support" link in the help center of the main UI, let it run to see what results are posted back. I would also run DISM against your Windows install to verify the health/integrity of Windows. If that setting is refreshing itself, which I haven't ever see happen my side, it could be a sign of something going on with Windows. Just my thoughts at the moment on that aspect. I dropped some informational links below in case you might have a need to have a fast look.

Hello Soul Asylum.. Thanks For the Quick response
I have Windows 10 Home and it's the latest version. Every second Tuesday of the month is the Windows 10 monthly update and I always install the latest version with all patches and fixes. I have been running Norton AntiVirus Plus for 2 weeks now. I know the Norton program takes over all the functions which Windows Defender use to do both firewall and AntiVirus.
For my system for the Windows Firewall setting under Domain Network which Norton is taking care of that now. Just a week ago it use to say "No Action Needed". Today i went back to the Windows Security>Firewall & Network Protection. There it was All 3 items.. Domain Network, Private Network & Public Network all said " No Action Needed". Which tells you that Norton Firewall is functioning properly.
The really weird thing is today the Domain Network was back to " No Action Needed" while I was looking at the screen all of a sudden for the Domain Network which said " No Action Needed" refreshed by itself then went back to the " Status Unavailable, open Norton Antivirus for more information ". That's not Normal for Windows or the Norton program to do that.
Norton should look into this issue " Status Unavailable, open Norton Antivirus for more information " and create a fix for this problem ?
Hello Rob. What is your OS and version/build? As you most certainly already know. Windows Firewall ONLY runs for the sake of Windows Updates to function, when there is 3rd party A/V installed. All other system calls are taken over by the 3rd party antivirus solution. Below are my settings on Windows 10 Pro, as yours are, they are the same. I have clean installs of Norton on all my systems due to a previous issue, they are all showing the same and are per the screenshot below.

This is an older screenshot from 2018 on one of my systems and in an older version and build of Windows 10. It shows the same as we are currently seeing.
