After a tech reinstalled norton secuirty due to 8504, 104 error (Security would not start up after a day or so) and seemingly fixing the error, windows 10 has been slow to shutdown. I noticed he disabled fast start up and removed some norton files manually which were not removed using the removal tool. I do notice when using ccleaner that a registry error (ActiveX/COM Issue InProcServer32\C:\Program Files\Norton Security\Engine\22.9.4.8\McStatus.dll HKCR\CLSID\{09D32393-10DA-4eca-91AA-AD11C69DB966} always shows up but fixing it doesn't seem to solve the shutdown problem.
Any thoughts on how to return windows 10 to the fast shutdown and keeping NS running with no errors?
