Woody posted this at the InfoWorld site this afternoon U.S. time. If true, this represents a significant step for myself and probably many others in returning WU user control for Win 10 Home (and Pro) PC's.
When / if verified, this removes one of two roadblocks from my perspective regarding my possible decision to accept the 1-yr free upgrade.
[edit] After reading this at the Win 10 Forum, it appears this wasn't what I originally thought about Win 10 OS updates being optional. It's a change to allow Win 10 App updates as optional.
My understanding of Win 10 Home version WU's is that the OS updates are still forced with the Home version. Perhaps someone can provide additional info on this topic.
