Windows 7 action center and norton 360

For the last week every time I turn on my computer the action center of windows alerts me and shows that all my security is not on. Now in order to get the alert to go away I have to uninstall and then reenstall Norton 360. This constant action is vary anoying. Can any one tell me why the action center keeps alerting me that norton is not on and why the only way to get wendows 7 to recognize Norton being on is to reinstall after each tim it is turned on?

Hi hoss156,

Please try the following:

1. Click the Start button, and then click All Programs > Accessories > Run.

2. In the Run dialog box, type the following text:

regsvr32 /u WMIUTILS.DLL (please notice the space between 2 and / and between u and W)

3. Click OK.

4. Restart the computer.

5. Click the Start button, and then click All Programs > Accessories > Run.

6. In the Run dialog box, type the following text:

regsvr32 WMIUTILS.DLL please notice the space between 2 and W)

7. Click OK.

8. Restart the computer.

Let us know if that fixed it.

Sorry that did not work for me. Thanks though
