Hi bjm_:
As long as the OP Subi has a Win 7 OS with Service Pack 1 that is patched to end of support on 14-Jan-2024 (i.e., they have the KB4474419 update released on 10-Sep-2019 that adds SHA-2 code signing support for digital certificates - see my 30-Aug-2024 post in FrancisE_Neill’s “Fix not Complete” for more information about KB4474419) and their CPU supports the SSE2 instruction set then I’m not sure why they wouldn’t be able to install a current Norton v22.24.x product on their Win 7 SP1 system.
I’m not sure what earlier installers you’re referring to. I did post links to full offline installers for the legacy Norton Security v22.15.x installers for Win XP SP3 / Vista SP2 / Win 7 SP0 (i.e., Win 7 with no service packs) in my 20-Dec-2018 archived topic Download Links for NS/NSBU v22.15.1.18 Installers (XP and Vista) but I can’t find the new link for that topic in the forum Archive. I still have working downloads links for installers for these old legacy Norton Security v22.15.x products that I could re-post, but support for the legacy v22.15.x products ended in May 2024 per employee Gayathri_R’s announcement End-of-Life announcement for Norton security software on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 (SP0) so those installers are really of no use to anyone now.
