Windows 7: unsuccessfully System-Restore and NIS 2010

With NIS 2010 (all options reset to ‘Standard’) it is unable to use ‘System-Restore’ (from System-Restore-Points of Windows 7) successfully.

 

After Reboot you will get the Windows 7 message: System-Restore was unsuccessfully! 

 

Solution: You must switch off the ‘Norton-Product-Protection’ (‘Norton-Product-Manipulation-Protection’) before starting the System-Restore from Windows System-Restore-Points.  

 

Keywords: Windows 7 Ultimate (German), NIS 2010 (v17.0.0.136 (German)).
Because I have not found changes in change log from Version v17.0.0.19, so I think, you will find the same problem in this new patch.
