Windows 7

Hi

Will Ghost 14 run on Windows 7?

Does NIS/NAV/N360 work with W7; informal tests are ok; please no it might however we don’t recommend it and don’t offer support answers.

Never mind. I found it.

I have the free 90 trial of WIN 7 RTM Enterprise you an download from technet without being a subscriber.

But I can't call myself a user -- I just built the new Ollie 3 and it's still a test bed. I can't speak for stabiltiy but then I don't think I've had XP or VISTA actually crash. I do like it although I wish we could invoke Classic Menus for START but I like the Control Panel approach of What do you want to do rather than What utility do you want to use (if you knew what it did)

I have Home Premium on order.

Thanks Hugh.

Will it be delivered on Octobre 22nd?

Out of my hands although I doubt it but on a previous occasion something I ordered from Microsoft came very promptly as though they had tried to ship it earlier than the release date to arrive on that date.

Of course you could download the installation file on October 22 if you ordered the Download version and their servers don't crash / the internet doesn't freeze up .....

Hi momwatching,

Yes, OnlineFamily.Norton is compatible with Windows7.

Thanks,

Katie

Is online family compatible with Windows 7?  My son just got a new computer and I want to install it.

I read in another thread that there were some issues.  Has everything been cleared up? And will it work with Mozilla 3.5?

momwatching,

The program is compatible with Mozilla Firefox 3.5 and Windows 7 in the latest Norton Safety Minder 1.1.5.15.

Thanks,

Katie

Hope this helps :)

Please let us know how it goes :)

Thanks, I feel stupid not even thinking that Norton would remember my account.

Any AV will help to protect you but your machine cannot be as protected as a patched Operating System.

You could look at a program called 0Patch to fill in some of the gaps.

Hello. Another user asked this question in this thread as well. It may give you the answers you are looking for.

Cheers

Hello Louise. Norton will still protect your system after end of life for Windows 7, Please see this thread comment for more information. Please keep in mind that since Microsoft will no longer provide security patches for Windows 7, outside entities will exploit anything they can when a new vulnerability is found. Since anti-virus providers cannot and do not have any control of your usage, surfing habit or software download you WILL be at a certain risk. Hope that helps answer your question adequately.

Cheers
