Yes, correct, and this suggests that the problem is due to the OS which in my opinion still has some bugs that perhaps will never be solved. Even the release of the next OS (W9) after a short time would indicate that thought.
Personally I do not hate at all W8, I just stopped using it because my computer was gone.
In many scenarios I believe that W8/8.1 is even more powerful than W7: fast-boot, faster setup of the software, backup management more accurate as well as being much safer than its predecessors.
