Occasionally I get a message notification from NIS on my Windows 8 64-bit desktop start screen that says something like: 'Click here for a message from Norton Internet Security.' When I click on it it goes to the desktop but nothing happens. NIS History doesn't list anything and I can't find anything obvious in Event Viewer.
Has anyone seen these and figured out what they are?

Do you have special offer notifications set to on; it’s under settings, general, and other settings, on NIS 2012. If you set this to off and check to see if you get the pop up if you do can you provide an image of it, by using screen capture and the paint programme or use the snipping tool (see help and support from the start menu).
