Windows Defender Gets Disabled

Greetings,

Everytime I reboot, I get an error message saying "Windows Defender is turned off". I can turn it on, but it gets turned off again on the next reboot. It was working fine before I installed Norton AntiVirus... so why would antivirus conflict with my spyware?

Thanks,

Shane.

It happens because two real time security program can’t run without errors at the same time, and NAV is turning off Defender, what your Windows didn’t like…
Try this, open Defender, and on the Settings page deselect (turn off) auto protection. Save the changes, and check how it works.
Let us know the results.

It is the same issue reported in NIS 16.5 and N360v3. We will fix this with our next inline release.
