Windows error stating Norton Antivirus is off

Hi All,

Pls see PNG file - It looks like a windows 10 or Windows 8 error.  I did not like Windows 10 so the OS revert back to Windows 8.

That Flag with the Red X is bugging me however my Norton still updates automatically and I am able to updte manually and scan my computer both quick and full scans.

Pls let me know what you think and pls confirm that I should not worry about this Windows error.

When you revert your OS back to Win 8 your Norton installation will likely be corrupted. If you still see Norton as being installed, you can run the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool to get a fresh install.   www.norton.com/nrnr

Be sure you read the before you begin section and run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available.

If you do not see Norton as being installed, go to your account at   https://manage.norton.com  and click on the Services tab. Choose your current subscription and click on the Download button. Then follow the directions to download and install a preactivated copy of your Norton product.
